Last year, Danny and I started a new tradition that I fell in love with immediately; going to the Christmas Market in Toronto.
We live in a city that is about an hour long drive from Toronto, Ontario, which is pretty sweet in my opinion because we have the opportunity to check out so many of the awesome events and things that Toronto has to offer. After going for the first time last year, we decided it should be an annual thing (no word of a lie, I’d like to go again before Christmas haha!)
This time around, we first stopped by Casa Loma for their Nutcracker event before heading to the market. It was magical. The whole day. From start to finish.
The Nutcracker has been one of my biggest loves since childhood and I’m sure you can imagine that I was over the moon that Casa Loma made it their Christmas theme this year. Even the tunnels were decorated (and truth be told, it may have been my favourite part – the music and lights and decorations, AMAZING!)
After spending some time at Casa Loma, we headed to the Distillery District and enjoyed mulled wine and hot cocoa at the Christmas Market. We spent the evening walking around, listening to Christmas music, taking in the lights and atmosphere and basically seeing just a whole lot of happy people doing the same thing.
