Seasonal Love

I have been asked many times what my favourite season is and it has always been a bit of a headscratcher for me. How can I choose just one and why should I choose just one? I suppose this is a commonly asked question when you live in a part of the world that gets to experience all four seasons.

Spring is beautiful with nature’s blooming return and the return of all of the adorable animals. Summer is fabulous because it really does seem to be adventure time, there is so much to see and do because everything is alive and happy plus going swimming outdoors is such a treat. Autumn is gorgeous with the rich colours of yellow, orange and red, and it is harvest time and Halloween. Winter is pure magic with fresh snowfall, a blanket of sparkling white and pretty twinkle lights adding to the magical atmosphere. I also find people to be at their very best during the holiday season in Winter, which is pretty wonderful to see and I absolutely love Christmas.

When it comes down to it, I love all four seasons pretty equally but I think Autumn may be just a teeny tiny more than the rest. It has a certain magic that I can’t quite put my finger on. It’s bewitching, whimsical, magical, beautiful, enchanting, a little bit mysterious with a touch of sadness as it is the death of nature in its’ neverending cycle of life. And I can’t lie, the fashion and the costumes and the leaves and the apple cider and the pumpkin patches make it all that much sweeter.
